Sharon B. Gilbert, Ph.D.
Author and Success Coach
Sharon B. Gilbert has been through all of the aches and pains, the medications with long-lasting side effects, the endless doctor visits, an unhealthy state of mind, a feeling of unbalance and the unpleasant attitude that goes along with a general state of just not feeling well enough. As a professional woman, she knows the importance of taking control of your own life, finding time for yourself, enjoying a healthy mindset and living a healthy lifestyle while still maintaining a busy personal and professional life.
"Let's face it; even in this age of computerization and modernization, we are more tired, stressed, overwhelmed and overwrought by daily activities than ever before. We live longer lives, but who wants to live longer if that doesn't mean a better quality of life -- a life of health, vitality and, yes, some fun and relaxation. The answers to looking great, feeling great and living a life of fun and fulfillment can be found in following simple rules to healthy living."
Sharon Gilbert has been a busy career woman. She began her career in the field of accounting and went on to obtain a Master’s in Taxation. Her love of research and writing prompted her to obtain a Ph.D. in Business Administration. With a family, working full-time and a full school load, she often found herself stressed and pulled in many different directions.
And then while stopped at a traffic light, only blocks from her home, her vehicle was struck from behind. She suffered five herniated disks and bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome along with other injuries. Within days, she was in terrible pain but determined to continue her daily routine. Traditional medicine offered no relief to her pain and other symptoms. Surgery was out of the question as were a lifetime of prescription medications, physical therapy and chiropractic care.
With a strong background in research and writing,
“My love of research, writing and finding the answers to difficult questions is what really excites me. In order to be happy, healthy and fulfilled, you need to live a healthy lifestyle that fits in perfectly with who you really are. The answers are out there – you just need someone you trust who’ll do the research, tell you the truth, give you simple answers – you need someone who truly cares.”
"As I continued to meditate three times a day, interesting things began to happen: I felt happier, peaceful, more alert, could think more clearly and my moods were much brighter."
